Abstract: The urgent affair of carrying out philosophical general education is to break through and exceed the fetter of the traditional Marxist philosophical education. Philosophical general education that meets the innovation needs of modern personnel training mode should guide contemporary college students to “know the world and learn how to be human”. It should provide contemporary college students with both global vision and Chinese spirit and necessary thinking training for cultivation of innovative talents. Meanwhile, it is indispensable to find an educational mode to match the pattern of ideological development of contemporary college students as well as to stimulate their enthusiasm for learning.
